Ich habe mit Kristin LaFlamme eine interessante eMail Diskussion über mein Idee von gestern: ich wollte für den Zeitraum von 30 Tagen jeden Tag eine Art2mail Postcard kreieren. Das war Krsitin schrieb, hat mich nachdenken lassen und so bin ich heute der Meinung, es war keine so wirklich gute Idee. Was bedeutet, es wird wohl nicht so stattfinden, wie ich gestern noch dachte.
Da mein Auto kaputt ist, musste ich heute den ÖPNV benutzen (das ist die Abkürzung für den Öffentlichen Personen Nahverkehr - also Bus und Bahn), wenn ich das tue, dann nutze ich die Gelegenheit zum Nachdenken, so auch heute. Ich habe darüber nachgedacht, warum ich das mache was ich mache, also z.Zt. diese Postkarten.
Sie haben ein Format, das ich überschauen kann, es besteht daher nicht die Gefahr, dass ich das Interesse an dieser Arbeit verliere, während ich versuche sie zu beenden, was nicht unwichtig ist, oder habt ihr keine Ufo's im Schrank?
Dann kann ich mich erproben, experimentieren, ausprobieren. Ich schaffe es ab und an sogar meine Gefühle auszudrücken, in diesem Format 10 x15 - was mich glücklich macht.
Darum will ich auch weiterhin genau solche Karten machen, Postkarten, die immer etwas mit mir und meinen Gefühlen zu tun haben. Dabei kann es sein, dass dann Karten entstehen, die im herkömmlichen Sinne nicht "schön" sind, damit muss ich dann leben und die, die sie erhalten weil ich gerade an einem Swap teilnehme. Ob das ein Problem werden könnte? kann?

They have a format which I can overlook, hence, there is not the danger that I lose the interest to this work, while I try to finish them, what is not insignificant, or do you do not have Ufo's in the cupboard?
Then I can test myself, experiment, try out, what is importante.
From time to time I get to express my feelings on this format 10 x15 cm - what makes me happy. This is why I also furthermore want to do exactly such postcards, which always deal with me and my feelings. Besides, it can be that the postcards originate which are not "nice in the customary sense, then, I must live with and whom, they receive such a Postcard, because I just in a Swap, too.

Wow, Beate, I really like what you're doing here...and I like your idea of an FPC a day, even if it doesn't always work out that way, at least you have the thought and you can use your spare time, too, like you said, for reflection!
